On May 10th 1983 Dick Grosbier and Bud Pryor Held the first ever IBS Registered shoot at Thurmont Conservation & Sportsman's club. It was a Beautiful day but had been raining for a couple of days previous and the range was flooded, there was just a trickle of water between the parking area and the platform when we started. But as the day progressed it became a wide fast running stream. Bud changed targets in waders and in the end the shooters and equipment were removed from the firing line in a canoe. Fortunately in the following 21 years a shoot has never been flooded out. Unfortunately someday it is bound to happen.
