Orland Bunker wanted to inform competitors that there will not be a clam bake at this year's event. Lunch will be served both days however.
Ricky Read has left the range
The Benchrest community has lost another great competitor. Ricky Read passed away Saturday, 6/4/22, he was 68 years old. Rick had accumulated 4 Hall Of Fame points as well as a respectful 67.0 (Silver) Precision Rifleman Points, qualifying in 2002. His quiet demeanor and patience at the bench, made Ricky a tough competitor.
Rick retired in 2018 from Ingersoll Rand after 46 years, in his youth, Rick built muscle cars, was an avid rock climber and enjoyed hiking, including hundreds of miles on the Appalachian Trail.
I will miss his stern advice on my shooting skills, always trying to get me to calm down and focus on the important details.

The June 4th and 5th 600 yard matches at Hunters Pointe have been canceled. Other matches may have to be canceled as they rebuild. Check the long-range schedule for updates.
White Horse May 7th match - canceled
The May 7th 600 yard match at White Horse has been canceled due to flooding
April 9th 600 Yard Match at Piedmont Gun Club has been cancelled
The match will be rescheduled for a later date.
