The 2022 100-200 yard Score Nationals will be held at Ashe County Wildlife Club on August 20th and 21st:

Notification of intent to participate and number of guns must be submitted by Monday August 16th. Please call, text, or e-mail Jerry Powers at 336-977-8788.. Prices will be $25/gun/yardage. Bench assignments and monies collected will begin at 10:00am Friday August 19th. Additionally there will be a $30 charge to include a mid-day meal on Saturday and a morning meal on Sunday.

The 100/200 yard IBS Group Nationals will be held August 15 - 20 at Fairchance Rod and Gun in
Smithfield, PA. Classes include LV,HV, Sporter, and Unlimited.

Orland Bunker wanted to inform competitors that there will not be a clam bake at this year's event. Lunch will be served both days however.

The Benchrest community has lost another great competitor. Ricky Read passed away Saturday, 6/4/22, he was 68 years old. Rick had accumulated 4 Hall Of Fame points as well as a respectful 67.0 (Silver) Precision Rifleman Points, qualifying in 2002. His quiet demeanor and patience at the bench, made Ricky a tough competitor.

Rick retired in 2018 from Ingersoll Rand after 46 years, in his youth, Rick built muscle cars, was an avid rock climber and enjoyed hiking, including hundreds of miles on the Appalachian Trail.

I will miss his stern advice on my shooting skills, always trying to get me to calm down and focus on the important details.
