URGENT - IBS Statement on COVID-19 and Registered Matches

Jane Dewees News

The International Benchrest Shooters recommend that all clubs hosting IBS matches
cancel matches from March 17, 2020 through April 12, 2020. This advice is advisory,
and it is up to the respective club to decide whether to proceed. Further, the IBS
advises adherence to guidance or directives from federal, state and local authorities
relative to public gatherings. If you are sick, please stay home or seek appropriate
medical care. The average age of our benchrest shooters put us among the most
vulnerable to COVID-19. As things progress, the IBS Executive Board will reassess
further guidance relative to the match schedule. The usual 30-day notice for
rescheduling of matches has been reduced to 14-days.
